The History of Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo

Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Nigeria, formerly Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (FUNAI) was established by the Federal Government on February 26th, 2011 with the goal of expanding and improving access to quality tertiary education to every part of Nigeria. It however, started academic activities on 5th November 2012, and was officially renamed by the Federal Government after the late civilian Vice President of Nigeria, Dr. Alex Ekwueme on 2nd February, 2018.

Why courses are approved and unapproved for Federal University Ndufu-Alike

The courses offered in Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo were approved by the Federal ministry of education, with structure and modality the school management board had put in place to promote quality learning.

There are courses that are are yet to be introduced and offered in the Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo which the structure and modality have not been made for their programs.

Because of the poor post utme score obtained by candidates.
Because of the rate at which candidates scored above others in the post utme exams, the candidates with lesser score are usually screened to offer few sub-optional courses.
Poor performance in school can also lead to a change of course (department).
