The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has declared that it will stop accepting registrations for the 2024 Direct Entry.The registration, which began on Monday, February 20, was halted with effect from Tuesday, February 21, 2024, according to a statement from the board by its Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin.
The suspension, according to a statement released by JAMB on Tuesday, will allow for the implementation of some policies that are intended to better service potential candidates.
The suspension of the current 2024 Direct Entry registration period has been declared by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
“A new date and fresh registration procedure, which will include the upload of JAMB Admission Letter in the case of OND and NCE, admission letter issued by universities in the case of a university diploma, and admission letter issued by A’ Level examination bodies (IJMBE, JUPEB, etc.), would be announced in due course,” the statement read.
The Direct-Entry registration period began on Monday, February 20, 2024, and was scheduled to conclude on Thursday, April 20, 2024, according to a previous report in the news.
Additionally, candidates should be aware that JAMB offices are the only authorized places for Direct-Entry students to register
